How to Download CUET UG Result 2025?

Once the NTA Declare CUET UG 2025 Result all candidates can follow below steps to download their scorecard:

  1. Go to CUET site cuet.nta.nic.in.
  2. Look for option “CUET UG 2025 Result” on the homepage CUET NTA Website.
  3. One the login lage enter CUET application number, date of birth security code then click on Submit button.
  4. Save the PDF of the result and take a printout for counselling process.

CUET UG 2025 Normalization Process

As CUET is conducted in multiple shifts the NTA uses a normalization process to ensure fairness in scoring because difficulty level varies from shift to shift. The equi-percentile method adjusts scores based on difficulty levels among different exam shifts.:

  • Raw Scores Calculation: Each correct answer awards +5 marks and incorrect responses deduct -1 mark. Unattempted questions carry no penalty.
  • Percentile Calculation: The formula used is:
    Percentile = 100 × (Number of candidates with equal or lower raw scores) / (Total candidates in the session)
  • Final Normalized Score: This makes sure that candidates from different shifts are evaluated on a common scale without advantage or disadvantage due to varying difficulty levels in different shifts.

1. University Cut-offs & Merit Lists

All the university which participate in CUET (e.g., DU, BHU, JNU) will release its CUET cut-off marks based on the normalized scores by NTA. Top colleges like Delhi University’s SRCC and Hindu College require 95+ percentile for popular courses like B.Com (Hons) and Political Science.

2. Counseling & Seat Allotment

  • Delhi University (DU) starts its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) immediately after the result.
  • Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and other central universities follow their own counseling schedules amd Procedure.

3. Special Provisions (SGC Quota)

For single girl children the DU offers reserved seats under the SGC quota which benefiting those who narrowly miss the general cut-off. An affidavit confirming single-child status must be submitted during counseling to get admission in DU under Single child category.
